Hello, I was hoping someone on this website could give me some advice or help. I went through Uship to ship my motorcycle across states. They subcontracted a driver who told me it would be delivered in 3 days. I gave him a comfortable 10 day span to get it here. He had issues with Uship and troubles with his truck. He got banned from Uship and is now ignores all calls and emails. He has had my motorcycle for over 3 weeks and I am getting worried. Last I heard 2 weeks ago his truck broke down just outside of Sacramento. With a red UTV and my black sport bike. I have missed out on several days of work due to know reansportation and am worried of losing my job. Any advice or help with tracking this transport would be more than appreciated. Thank you
His name is Joshua M his company is velocity services.

Report it stolen by the carrier contracted to haul / deliver it, let the authorities know all the info you have and they can track him down
Seems he had problems with USHIP not paying him check this out

I would file a lawsuit against Uship if they contracted him out, who cares if they banned him... When you hired him it was through them so sounds to me like they should be held accountable for your property
LGarrison Thanks this. -
You're screwed, see how much money you saved going through UShip instead of using a quality carrier?
You know a lot of carriers on UShip aren't legal, right?double yellow Thanks this. -
You're wasting your money even trying to sue them. -
That's awful to hear. I don't know anything about how UShip works and what sort of "legally binding" paperwork, if any, is provided at load-out.
If attempts fail to have UShip make this right, I'd make it my life's work from here on to make the world know UShip is not to be trusted with anything.
I'd be pretty sure my bike and that other dude's ATV are gone for good as far as you two are concerned. Obviously the UShip contractor decided he had had enough and saw something he liked and wanted or wanted to cash out for himself. I'd report the theft. Hopefully you have the guy's name and a photo of his DL? -
Check out his facebook page , he sounds like a nut case

He got impounded on May 13. Truck has no DOT numbers and he was headed for Vegas, might want to call all the pawn shops in Vegas and see if your bike is there.
He might not be answering his phone because he might be in jail...not4hire Thanks this. -
Or call the agency that impounded the truck. It's likely in storage......the truck, trailer and the load. Turn the bike in stolen too. You had insurance right?
