Can anyone tell me about this company Transport Resource Systems I talked with a rep on the phone for about an hour. They said that they would guarntee me a paid for school and a job upon completion of school. It all sounded good untill they wanted about $500 dollars up front. I said that I would get back to them should I?
Thanks Billy C.

No idea who they are. No way in hell should you give them$ 500. Sounds like the scam they had down in Orlando last year.
Way to many ways to pay for school with no out of pocket or at least accredited PTDI schools out there. -
no way, sounds like they told you everything you wanted to hear and now they are trying to scam you out of your money and hopes for a job

Hey their Captbilly! My son recently went through that cumpany and it was ok. I was about to cosign for him to go to a truck driving School but before i signed the papers my husband and did our researcvh. I was pretty skeptikal to but they guaranteed him into a school paid for by a trucking company and it was 500 compared to the other truck driving school that was costing us over $5000. My son did get a job but they made him driver with a mentor for way over a month which was the hardest part becouse he was only making 425 a week for all tjhat time but hes doing good now becous hes got his own truck and making pretty good money. Transport recourse told my son he would be with his mentor for three to four weeks and it was well over a month so that is one thing we were not happy about becouse my son wasnt prepared for making such little money for so long. but over all it was ok.

Oh and it actuallt costs 795 not 500.

If you want to go the company "paid" training route(you pay but for another discussion)) you can do that all on your lonesome. Absolutely no reason to pay $500- $756 for them making some calls.
#### sure would't pay it up front because there is no guarantee that you pass the school or the job despite what they said. -
OK I could be wrong and if I am I apologize Cindy1961 but I doubt it...Does anybody notice she has just now joined as of yesterday, from Florida, defending a company nobody, so far, has heard about but resembles a scam last yr in you guessed it Florida same place TAZZ mentioned. Also read the post with the spelling and grammar errors, not that I'm a genuis but this the format most scams from over seas are typed...I would be VERY skeptical, sorry just the investigator in me comming out.

First of all Mr Classic I aint defending nobody especially that company. Secondly I bet I've been coming to this forum a lot longer than you have. Just so happened that i never posted before. The man asked if anybody ever heard of that company and I have so I answered him.
And as for my spelling -
Well, I accept your apology just quit being rude. -
wasnt being rude, not the only one that questioned it...I also am new to the industry and we need to look out for each other. Id rather speak up and be wrong than stay quite and watch a new guy like me post later how he lost thousands in a scam...

Cindy1961, I appreciate the response.......I just got a phone call from them and was told the "down payment" is $595.00..........
I need to know more about this company and their procedures before I sign-on!
