ya. It is most likely the original motor for that truck. what is it? a 79? something like that.

And that cabover has a long wheelbase and the freightliner air suspension so it probably rides pretty good. I'm one of those that thinks the freightliner suspension rides better then the pete.
The w-9 has nice interior which is a consideration since interior panels are pricey to have redone. It just needs the hood painted (or better yet the whole truck) and it would be a show stopper too. I don't know what either of them want for those trucks though

    The 352 is a '74 for 5,500, the W9 is a 81 for 9k.

That W-9 just needs a paint job and it would be killer. Same with the 352 too though. The 352 has the edge though being stretched and the recent frame/axles/tanks paint. Plus he's gonna fix the cab corner and throw on a set of 6 inch straights out the back.

Just a matter of if you want to drive a cabover, especially one that old. I'll tell ya. My dads first truck was a 74 pete 352h just like that but with the smaller bunk. That truck was 10 years old when he bought it and it was a mess. Butt it was a ROUGH 10 years old. In the winter (WI winter not AR winter lol) we would have to get up every hour and hold your foot to the floor to get the heater to throw off enough heat to heat the cab up, then you'd go back to sleep for as long as you could untill you were so frozen you'd wake up and do it again.
With all that said though I love those trucks as long as you don't have to live in it.
