May I suggest you look at other coolant heaters. Those I use I can use nonstop for 3 days without even having to think my batteries will dry out...

Try Webasto or Eberspächer, those come standard on every european truck and emergency vehicle...

The Nite system is not all that its cracked up to be. The only mechanic I trust with my engine works at a small trucking company, 25 trucks or so. They tested several trucks with the Nite system for close to 2 yrs now. It will not keep the truck warm below about 30 degrees, (just about useless) and it will not keep the truck cool above 90 at night or even less when the sun is beating down on the cab during the day.

I wouldn't waste my money on a system that limited.

We know those are good systems but I live in TExas , air conditioning is much more important to me then heat.

I have heard from a few places now that th nite systems don't work well. Pretty much exactly what Brick said

I'm not headed to Maverick. I am headed to Arnold Trans on sunday. I'd have to catch the grey dog at midnight to get to little rock and the bus stop is about 70 miles away. I don't have a way to get there and am not about to make my wife do that drive at that hour with my son. They refuse to rent a car for me, even if I pay for it. I found out yesterday I can not rent a car. Since I don't have credit cards anymore and only use a debit card you have to pass a credit check to rent a car.
Arnold is in Dallas and greyhound has a bus at 2pm on sunday and it's only about 30 miles from my house

I appreciate the offer but I can't do that. Sounds like you may need it more then me anyways. I'll be alright. Trust me, I won't be starving any time soon!!

That wouldn't have done much good unless you came to TX to get me. It was getting from home to where I needed to catch the bus at 12:40 in the morning that was the issue. Plus they just kinda po'd me by not renting a car for me, even if I paid for it.
