Pulling a #### wagon is gonna suck. I would walk to a flat bed job before I pulled a wagon.

ya ya ya. I know your feelings on the vans. ANd I really did want to do the Maverick thing. There is tons and tons of oilfield flat work around here but they are all small companies and can't train ya. Guess I'll just buy a flat and go buy that securment book and go to work!
My whole o/o experience is with the reefers. I'd do that again as I still have a few contacts and old friends around but I can't afford a reefer trailer. And I've seen more people fail because of a bad reefer unit then anything.
Main reason I was thinkig flat is that I have a friend with an outdoors company and he buys these big hunting blinds down here in TX and I can get into hauling them for him and they are easier on a flat. I also have an account hauling 4wd golf carts I can get into. I can do them in a van but a flat with a tarp system would be the hot setup.

OK, for some reason I thought you already were a flat bedder.

What ever ya do I wish you the best of luck getting on top, and getting the old blue truck running in good shape.

If you decide to reactivate your authority and want to pull a reefer again, let me know. I will put you in contact with a company that will rent you a decent reefer trailer on a short term basis to get ya' rolling.

Yeah there are a few companies in Little Rock that will lease a Reefer. 06's and 07's. Not shiney stainless steel spread axle units... but equiped with all the chicken lights you want! I looked into them when I was thinking about leasing on with a local reefer guy. He's moving tons of freight and produce.. but he wants a solo to run as hard as a team. I think I told you about that guy once MM. I can't remember.

Well I´d have both If it was my truck then I´d be free to haul all over.
I´d change places with you anyday MM... in fact I´ve been considering to relocate myself because there´s no future IMO being a trucker over here.Much less than being a O/O in the states...

No thanks. I just moved here from WI to get away from the cold

I still think being an owner operator is a good career. It's much harder then it used to be but it can still be done
