    Hello! New to the forum.

I was wondering if anyone had a list of the states nationwide that require permits to haul liquor from, into, and through and also how much those permits cost? I'm looking at hauling for a large wine / spirits manufacturer that ships to / from just about every state.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I do not know anything about it--but there must be some requirement in Pa--because i see a lot of carriers there--with a PLCB# on side of their trucks

The shipper will not pay for permits or get involved in anyway... already asked that.

A couple years ago or so, I could have answered that question from the permit book in the company truck my hubby was driving. They had them all. He doesn't drive for the same company, and doesn't haul booze much at all. I'll see if I can chase someone in here that will have that info.

Some of these company drivers can look in their permit book and tell you. I use to carry like four permits, but I forget which states. I think most are the commonwealth states.

The shipper won't tell you? That's strange.
