I have a carrier that is going to be leasing on with me and I have to go pick up 4 of his trucks down in Texas coming back to North Dakota.

I've never done this before and can't get a straight answer from anyone right now so I'm looking for some advise!

Can I just get the 72 hour temp permit from TX and be able to drive back to ND or do I need the ND temp permit?

OR do I need a temp permit in each state I drive through....

If you're going to license them in ND, just get the temporary there. IF IRP'd plate

Because bonder is probably sick of the choice of drivers here in ND and is willing to do what it takes to get some good trucks

Because I am leasing them on, putting my drivers in them and running them as my trucks so I want to get them up here quicker because I'm drowning in work and need there trucks here ASAP...

Assuming you're bob tailing them to N.D. have you checked commercial co's that could send 1 driver and piggy back them to you?

If you have all the truck info the easiest thing is just get your temp registration and IFTA and drive them back.
