I thought I had an appointment for dollar general at 1pm Friday. I arrived at 1120am to find out I had an 11am appointment. For being 20 minutes late XPO says I have to wait 2 weeks for delivery. It's just me, my truck and trailer. I can't sit on this parking lot for 2 weeks. What would happen if I hand unload my trailer in the parking lot and leave?
Trapped at Dollar General, missed appointment time.

Is XPO the broker or the warehouse manager?

XPO is the broker, they're RXO now I guess.

That makes no sense at all.

I've been late for a DG load before and had to wait until the next day (Atlanta). But two weeks for 20 minutes late? Nah... that #### would go back to the shipper so fast it would make their head spin.
And if the shipper didn't want it back, I'd hand unload the #### out in the street. But then, don't take advice from me anyway. I've got a short fuse, a hell of a temper and a very cynical outlook on the corporatocracy that has infested the world.RedForeman, mitmaks, Badmon and 24 others Thank this. -
