Its amazing isnt it, and sick. There are drivers on here that support open borders, and pot smoking too. Thats really a kick in the guts. They are cutting their own nuts out.

They don't get enough mention that's for sure. I am okay with them. TA is a disaster and it has been for a while now, but ever since this woke bs, its shocking how fast this country is going down, isn't it? We need the mom and pop style to come back. Hire people that want to work there, not people you don't know. Train and reward hard work.

 

They are on their last leg… They have leverage all of their property across America on this deal……

Well the only ambest I ever went to was one in Ozona Tx. Staff was rude. Bathrooms were third world. Parking lot was moon crater city. BUT they always had parking and the Restraunt was stellar.
There was an old car museum there too that was in disrepair. You just walked around the building and looked at the stuff thru the windows.

If TA/Petro can't make enough money with their current setup and update their truck stop. How do the think trying to add older mom and pop truck stop to in their corporate name will help ?

TA/Petro is losing customers in my opinion because they have to much paid parking and their driver rewards/shower credits are not helping driver very much. Other truck stops reward driver loyalty, by offering free daily showers or free drink refills. I don't think IHOP restaurants will bring in that much regular people driving on the highways.

 

They are getting whipped by the other chains..Their business model sucks and they seem to be stuck on stupid continuing to do the things that will ultimately lead to their demise

 

I used to buy most of my fuel from TA Petro but once they changed their plan and limit showers to 1 per day per 75? Gallon or whatever it is I stopped using them
So if I buy fuel in the AM then shower but get dirty later on and buy more fuel at night then I’m sol if I don’t have any saved up

No longer use them unless it’s the only place available which is very seldom and although I don’t care for pilot any more i think their rewards and shower program are much better

 

You are correct. They need to change everything back. Fire all the Store Managers, Hire only local folks that want the truck stop to succeed, not some ding a ling dumb college grad that can't even count, but has a degree in social dismanteling/ I mean social engineering. lol. We are going contract out the Kitchens, restroom/shower care, this is going to take time, they need to START NOW. Send email to all the stockholders, and tell each and everyone of them, an old timey makeover is coming to TA/Petro, we are going back in time. To an age of more honest, good hearted, kind, considerate and secure truckstops. There will be a lot of parking and patrols in our expanded parking lots. We will have outdoor concert type plastic toilets arrays in the parking lot, ample trash containers. If you litter you will be talked to, your truck photographed and messages sent to law enforcement. We are no longer hiring people that cannot speak english or have any drug convictions, theft, sexual crimes of anykind. If you cannot count back change properly, do NOT APPLY. Please come forward for a rewarding job. You will be with coworkers that care, you will have too, pull your weight, do not mention racism and you will not have any problems with racism, please do your job, if not you will be written up and FIRED, if you have any hangups, you are nuts, you want to be a nut, you want a disability because you can't hold a job, do NOT APPLY. No pot heads/tweekers. We do randoms and you will be fired. We really do not want to hire gen x or millennials that have there head up their ###. If you are not old school, old school at heart, or at least a boomer, you will be probation for years. You don't know how to vote, you cannot be trusted. Like I said we are returning to the days of old at TA/Petro. If you want to accept the challenge come forward. We look forward to interviewing you and getting you enrolled in your training, and in some cases you will need to restart some high school grade classes and you are required to score at least 85% in the testing.
