    I will be in a dorm. Sleep will be at a definite premium. I'll do the best I can.

    Suck it up and rent a car, they should reimburse for the bus ticket price at least. Thats a long bus ride if ya never been on one.

    I won't go to any orientation if they don't send a limo to pick me up.

    I'm kidding, of course. GH isn't that bad. Sit in the back. All the women with kids sit up front. Try to find another driver that seems sane. That way you can watch each other's stuff.

    Don't listen to these crybabies. Greyhound isn't that bad. The toilet isn't that bad.

    I never had any problems traveling greyhound. I would sit near the front, next to the window if possible. I packed snacks and bottle water. I read, slept and kept to myself. There were always about 6 drivers on every greydog I was on. They were either heading to orientation or heading home.

    I've done the 2 day trip before. Trust me when you are tired you will sleep...however waking up may be a problem after having your body contorted in an unatural position for so long just trying to get comfortable...lol. Just try to consolidate as much as possible. You will be a little sore when its over...but hey you will have plenty of stories, I guarantee it!!

    I wouldn't sit in the back...one the odor isn't real pleasant back there but also if u happen to be in the aisle you will have people bumping into you at all times when they get up to go to the bathroom

    I had a 24 plus GH from Chicago to Jackson MS , or 17hr Amtrak I opted for the train 25 bucks more and you had a dinning car and snack room also a viewing car which is were I sat most of the time. Do yourself a favor nd take the train.

    Gotta love those bus rides,NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.Jefferson bus lines have much more comfortable seats then the Grayhound..Try and get the back seat,they're more roomy and the bathroom right there.You don't have to climb over every body.I'm very exp at taking the bus,lol.

    Here's the thing with sitting in back;

    A BIG seat (at least, it USED to be...) BUT...

    The engine is located right behind your head. Lot's of noise.
    I also thought that the ride was rougher. I sat up front also. And found the sweet spot to be in the middle.
    AND, if you sit in the back, you WILL smell the toilet.

    Oh man, back in the day when the buses used those old Detroit 2 stroke engines running at 2100 rpm in top gear, they were LOUD! You'd swear they were going to blow the engine any second, but that's the way those old engines liked to be run.
