Trenton Feb 20?

I know you are training in Trenton but I talked to Greg at Cartersville MTI. He said just chill out, don't come in there all nervous. Don't put more into it than there is and you will be just fine.

Also, if you are bored and want to pass the time he told me how to practice shifting. Get a roll of toilet paper and a plunger...yeah I know what you are thinking....haha

Use the toilet paper for your clutch and the plunger for your shifter. Get into a one two rhythm. Push clutch in, put in gear...push clutch in, pull in neutral...push clutch in, put in gear...and so on. Not as good as the real thing but hey, it helps pass the time!

Oh yeah, and don't be a nervous nellie!

 

Are you supposed to sit on the toilet while u practice this method ?

I might be there on the 20th. Will have to see how soon I get my permit, as well as how soon I get my tax refund because I'm using that money to get by for the 6 weeks or so that I'll be going without a paycheck during this transition. Hopefully I'll see ya there teleman.

Rest assured - you'll do fine. The trainer in Trenton is absolutely wonderful and he'll cure you of those nerves!

Not sure about the toilet paper thing - but he is right on getting the time down! It just takes time and practice. If I can learn it anyone can!
