Does Midway or Trexler charge for overnight parking???

 

No for both

We always called "Trexler Plaza" Kuhnsville truckstop. Used to get Gold Bond stamps there when I fueled. Used to have bungalows for the people who "like to go down slow".
They ought out buy Kenny Shuck out and expand the parking lot!
Is that bar, [what was the name?] still across the street?
When they built all the warehouses in the cornfields of Fogelsville all the mega corporate trucker trash swamped the area.

Midway's been there forever too.

 

Is that the place down the road from the cold storages ?? If so the back row of that place could get a little wild at times years ago.. :smt003

 

Yep, still there.

 

I'm at this truckstop and I have say that I'm pretty impressed. I remember what the old one was like. The spots are narrow, and you do get pretty close to your neighbor's mirror backing in, but that is the only negative thing I can say.

The store is well stocked and clean. The restroom is clean as well. The grill is only open until about 5:00 PM, but it's not a big issue as Chris's Restaurant is across the street and the food there is great.

All in all, the new Trexler Plaza is good place to take your 10 or wait for a customer.

 

Years ago you could call one of the local girls that worked the parking lot to hold a spot for you. Glad to see the place has been cleaned up.

 

It is a lot nicer. I worked there when I was like 18-19 years old. It was nasty. Now, they keep it clean, well lit, parking lot is tight but it's a totally different place. Plus you can still stroll over to Chris' Restaurant for a good meal.

 

I can't say for Midway, but i know Trexlers doesn't charge.
