You have put three instances on this thread of "black privilege." For every instance you have put up, there are hundreds more going the opposite direction.

Also I do not deny that it is true that there is white priveledge in some instances..my point is there is also black/minority priveledge in others

 

With whites it's privilege. With people of color it's affirmative action

 

Man I don't have time for all that. You can't understand what happens almost daily to minorities because you don't have to walk in their shoes. The handful of times affirmative action caused you to not get your way (if even a handful), you think you're on the same platform. No sir. You never will be.

 

No jobs and promotions should not be based on either..its all about who is most qualified...and as far as Oprah goes ..she is a fine example of a minority who came from nothing who rose to fame and made millions in this country..and she's whining about ne8ng discrimination..give me a break

 

Well you would think you could give one example..nuff said.

 

Oprah is one of the rare success stories. In theory it should be all about who's most qualified. Unfortunately, it's not always the case. Sometimes it's race, gender, sexuality, or simply who you know. It's not a total level playing field, nor will it ever be.
