Like when you have 30 trucks waiting in line to scale and the parking area is full (just my two cents though)
I have wrapped the hook on the inside and it definitely helps during windy days, but my boss said to be very careful with that. He said earlier in his career he tried that and busted another driver's window out![]()

If the strap is twisted on tall loads. It don't flap around on the highway wind. So yeah it's quieter. Also doesn't tear up the load if it's delicate. Like foam insulation or whatever. Sometimes it don't loosen up as much either. Sometimes.
Twisting is usually a good idea for anything over 6 feet high on the trailer.TooTiredToTalk and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
