Are you running team and do you already have an alaska plate? If not you need to let your customer know you won't be there monday am. The plate is purchased in person, and no way is a solo driver making it to alaska in 3 days.

What puzzles me is his return trip, hope he is getting $5 a mile for the load if he has to do back to the lower 48.
We don't take loads to Alaska unless there is a return load ready to go when the truck gets there. -
BoostedTeg Thanks this.

Good evening everyone, we wakeup in Amarillo Tuesday morning and went to the Volvo dealer there, did pickup a radiator expansion tank, and some nozzle sprayers for the wipers, went to the TA in Limon, CO and in the early afternoon we checked there for replacing the expansion tank and taking care of a short circuit in the headlights high beam.
It took the guys there a little bit longer than expected but they did it and we went further to Cheyenne, WY with a pause in Watkins (just before Denver) to get fuel at $2.94.
A nice clean wash for truck and trailer in the evening at the Blue Bacon in Cheyenne and we called a day at this point, almost 1000 miles done, another 3000 to go, tomorrow is another day and a better one than today.
Will need to grease tractor and trailer before going to Canada, I do expect to sleep tomorrow night just by the border of CA, we keep on schedule, 5 days to deliver and 3000 miles to go, piece of cake, good night to you all.
On a bad note, we ask for a fuel advance today to Landstar (load is from them) and they told us to go f... ourselves, that they do not give fuel advance to anyone not being a Landstar contractor. It does not matter if you take a 4000 miles trip with a lot of expenses, they don't care, they told me to call friends and family and to ask them for money in case of coming short, but not calling them anymore about it.
Good company to work for, I am beginning to wonder if they subcontract the trip because none of they contractors will go to Anchorage for $3.00 a mile.CellNet, Keepforgettingmypassword and jsnell Thank this. -
