I worked for them for 6 months. I didnt particularly like it. Joe the Sandusky terminal manager is one of those guys that comes off as a nice guy, but really only cares about his numbers to earn his bonus. As an O/O you have no control over what loads you haul and you will have to work at least every other weekend. They basically think of you as a company driver who pays for the truck. If they need weekend help and you refuse or if you refuse a load, dispatch will screw with you and withhold work. Maybe things have changed in the year since I left, but I doubt it.

Triple Threat and uturn 1 Thank this.

Thanks Pound, recruiter said drivers average about 1200 miles a week and even with stop pay plus fuel surcharge I can not make these numbers work for me. I don't see anything above drivers wages after deductions.
Well, thanks again for the heads up.

I brought home between 975.00 - 1200 a week after deductions. I heard they got a pay raise, not sure how much better.

I am looking at the Kansas City terminal. Everyone is saying"home nights and weekends". Does anyone know what exactly "home most nights" means? Do you get home at 9pm after you have missed all your kids sports and programs or is it more likely you can get home at 4pm or 5pm regularly? Im interested in pay, but im also interested in my family. Also, dont they do a lease purchase? Thanks!
