    This is a Question that most should know but some may not.

    On I-57 at Effingham Ill there was once a TRUCK STOP called
    THE BOBBER with big neon lights and billboards galore. Can you tell us what truck stop bought out the BOBBER and what it is NOW....

    I think the Flying J is where The Bobber once was. Any body agree or dis-agree?

    I agree. It is now a Flying J, but I had to research that a bit. I slept in the lot at the Bobber many times, but preferred the Shell truck stop across the road.

    QUESTION # 2

    Who bought out the old BLUE WHITE truck stops of the 70's and 80's

    You can still in some places still see an OLD BLUE / WHITE sign on the highway from time to time with a new stop next to it using the old lot...
