Is Kroger washed away ?
Maybe they can rebuild it to fit trailers from today's age instead of the 1940's

I left Shreveport today, headed back to OKC. The TA had a dozen flatbeds with generators, waiting for the green light to go to Houston. Another dozen parking spots were coned off for more relief loads.
My brother had an observation after his foray delivering that mobile kitchen in south Houston. He noticed that none of the toll roads were flooded, at least where he went. NOBODY was on them. They were deserted. Meanwhile it was a cluster on the regular highways and streets with numerous closures for flooding. Why don't they lift the tolls on the toll roads during emergencies? It would take a lot of pressure off the regular roads and enhance safety.
Also, can somebody advise the HOS regulations that cover working disaster relief? I thought there was some kind of suspension of certain requirements.austinmike, x1Heavy and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
