You HAVE a work history! You'll be fine. Check out Companies that have in house training. Stay a year or two with the SAME Company..... You will have multiple opportunities for years to come. I REPEAT....... STAY WITH YOUR FIRST COMPANY..... Do not continue your job hopping in this industry, it will handicap you. You will change jobs every 3-4 months and ALWAYS be the "new guy". Good luck!

I've worked at several Driver Temp To Perm "Leasing" Companies in North Carolina since 2003 and they required at Least 2 Years Verifiable Employment/Experience.

Do you have your class A license yet? Wherever you are, there are always small trucking companies that are looking for someone like you. It all depends on what you're looking for, what and how you're willing to work. Local or OTR and with what endorsements. If you create a full resume, a traditional one, and then have an attachment of an explanation of your circumstances, the right business owner will understand. Any truck company is able to hire you right off the bat with zero experience and with no or bad work history. Google search your area and even countrywide because if you live in Florida someone in Idaho is able to hire you and keep you local on the east coast or in your state or city or OTR. Just shotgun your resume and explanation out there and you'll find what works perfectly for you. Perfectly as long as you're honest.

No Trucking Company wants a resume from a newbie! Just need to fill out an online application.

That is not the type if place where 99.9% of rookies start out in this industry. The OP needs a Company large enough to train him and provide benefits for his family. He won't get that at Jim Bobs Trucking Company.
