Please give me Your real world experience and differences between them.

I have Centramatics on my steers and suspecting they got old (they are from previous owner)

and caused inner tire wear just on one tire.

    Thanks.

I would check with centramatics, but there is nothing on them that is affected by age. Inner tire wear is probably caused by poor wheel alignment.

Have used Centramatics for years and will continue; met some of their folks at MATS in the past and seem like good people (said their product wouldn't fix all ills). I think they may have a lifespan, but it would be a long one. Follow J Frog's advice and ask!

Yes sounds like an alignment issue, and don't let them tell you that they only need to do the front axle. One of the drives being out can give you steer tire wear.

I have 550K on my current Centramatics.

I have 185k miles on a set of Bridgestone R287 steers and they are wearing perfectly fine and have about 12/32 tread left. I have centramatics on them, and my last set of steers lasted 225k miles. I recommend them

This is good..... I had a steer that was out of round I pulled into a GCR and the firestone rep was there first thing GCR said is that I had a bent wheel or something was wrong with the front end. Last year I did all the spring bushings hangers shocks king pins and tie rods GCR did the alinement and was all noted all the parts were new.
The run out on the wheel come to .02 and .02oz on the inside with the tire it was .13 and .24 and was 39oz off the spun the wheel and made it worse. Than the rep come outside and looked the shop started saying what was done to the truck 55,000 miles ago without even going outside and looking at the truck he said the only time he has ever seen a tire off that bad was running wheel balancers LOL....

He walked outside and looked at my truck and when he seen them he said there is your problem. Said he couldn't say anything bad about them but at low speeds all the weights are all in one spot they work good at high speeds but he didn't know at what speeds they spread out

firestone did replace my tire and was told as long as the balencers were on my truck he couldn't help me in the future. I left mine on and in 55,000 miles if they look like that again there comming off

You'll get that kind of wear just fighting the crown in the road with a left crosswind. Alignment (be aware the monkeys in the truckstops can and will screw-up an alignment) followed by rotating the steers.

I have Centramatics on my steer, overall been satisfied. I want to get some stuff from Tru-Balance to cure "out of round" tire issues. I have been a little skeptical about doing the balancing beads from Balance Master just because it seems like when you have a tire flat or valve stem leaking and you have to deal with the beads seems like it would be a PAIN. I personally would be willing to deal with them but I dont break down big truck tires, I pay guys to do that for me!

Not just truck stops. The truck I drive was alligned at Volvo after they did some warranty front end work. After the truck came back from the shop I looked it over and found loose bolts on the panhard bar(spelling). How can you do a good allignment if the rear driver can move from side to side. Not much confidence at the Volvo place in Seattle.
