TRU NORTH WARRANTY...ANY GOOD??

For real, because they screwed us after only driving 4100 in six months on a 100,000 mile 12/yr warranry! They paid nothing! Worthless and Beware!

 

Trunorth screwed me over. I went 4175 mile and threw a rod. They said everything possible to get out of it. And so far they have done just that. Truck n the shop with motor tore down. Financed company forced me to get the warranty so I thought it was as good as gold but just like my motor they aint worth a ####

They are denying my claim saying that because work was done before i purchased the and before they warranty the truck. So unless you plan on getting a teardown to know what is all been done to the truck before you buy it. Dont deal with trunorth

 

Anyone interested in starting a class action lawsuit against this company? Not sure how to begin one

Besides new manufacturer's warranty, try to stay away from any of these warranty companies. They make money by not paying out claims. 99 times out of 100, either the coverage will be crap or will be prohibitively expensive. Their whole business model is making sure they don't pay out more in claims than the policy cost.

Sure, you'll hear stories from time to time about how somebody had a major breakdown and the warranty saved them, but this is the exception, not the rule.

hey guys ,never buy this warranty because they don't pay for anything , save your money because you guys will save and fix things way better than these crooks , I have a 2015 freightliner Coronado ,its got a cylinder sleeves leak and guess what this #### face are saying that any gasket leaks are not covered under they warranty .DD16 has o- rings on they sleeves that wears out so quick only 685000 kms ,egr are not covered external injector seals not covered , truck is still in wajax Edmonton Alberta . Wajax is charging me for 16 hours of inspections on the motor @ $170/hr . I bought the warranty for $9500.00 cnd .
what a waste of time and money with this crooks . stay away from these guys .

 

I wish is have read this before buying a policy. These idiots just denied a claim for an $4000 exhaust manifold replacement claiming a loose clamp further down the exhaust system contributed to its failure.

I’m going after them in small claims if there is no remuneration for legal fees. Still waiting to hear from my attorney.

I’ll gladly spend a day a month to cost them a few grand sending a lawyer every time. So long as I only sue for the remaining value of the warranty, I will be able to stay under $5000 and in small claims.
