Truck bucks and hops

I had the same problem when diving a Mack and learned to keep my heel on the pedal at the pedal hinge point, problem resolved.

 

yeah what bender said, those macks are so tight that if it hicups once you get to bouncing on the pedal and it makes the truck bounce or hop.

 

You might need to drop your seat down a little to be able to keep your whole foot on the pedal. If you throttle with just your toes and ball of foot it will buck/jerk/lunge.

 

if it still does it let us know. we are full of ideas on here some good some weird. my truck does it if i get at a certain rpm idling through a parkin lot. but the way i have mine setup it's something im ready for when it starts to do it.
