Hahaha oh man, once I'm overweight by 5k lbs I refuse that and demand they take off a skid or 2... You never know what might happen. But this idiot being 89k overweight is just stupid!

I used to haul scrap as well. That stuff get heavy if you ain't careful. 88.5k on a 28ft dump was a regular occasion

What do those setups weigh empty ?
They look higher than 13'6" and looks like a solid steel bin, I am curious how heavy they are.

Maybe it was because he was on ELOGS,
He had 2 loads to deliver but only had hours for one trip.

Hi rank, no I believe he had nine separate citations for axle weight. Hey, this ain't the 1st ball buster that this person hauled, it is by the ton, and it's 4 lane all the way now, with no scales ( you can get around them pretty easy) They just got greedy, and maybe a bit of a surprise, but they knew what they were doing. In most of my travels, I rarely see portables set up in the Badger. You'd think there would be more with lots of heavy stick loads that come out of N. Wis.( that's about it nowadays) and the guys that hauled the cranberry trailers I staged last year were permitted ( yah, sure) for 100g's, and many went out over 90. Glad I only dragged them 200 ft. I hauled a load of junk engine blocks in a RR Z van, that I knew was over 90K. The ol' Cummins pulled 'er fine, stopping it was another matter.

I don't know about the elog part, but once, at my egg and cheese route job, the dock had double stacked a load of cheese going back to Land O'Lakes in the front half of the trailer and then my deliveries behind that. I'd say I was a bit over on the drives. When I got to LOL, the bigwigs came out and took pictures of it and why I would haul a load like that. I said, look pal, get this crap off my wagon, I'm not done yet. I heard our dock got chewin' for that.
