12 dui convictions and he still was able to get a Tn drivers license. Unreal!

The families should sue the state of TN. How this driver received his CDL boggles the mind.

because it seems like they deserve it. This case is certainly getting a fair amount of media attention up here in Maine, and that clown deserves at least 25-years in the big house.

Truck driver found guilty of manslaughter sentenced to 25 years
"The judge said that it was mystifying to him how this man was able to get a license in the first place. I fully agree with that. It's a stunning breakdown in the system somewhere and I hope to find out exactly what happened and, I'd also like to know that there are people looking into that to make sure that something like this doesn't happen again," said District Attorney, Jonathan Liberman.

Another sad part is that there'll always be a truck driver defending him in some way.
I remember a case about twenty years ago. A female TN trooper was killed by a truck drive in a construction zone. He had previously lost his TN license. I don't remember why. He went across the state line to KY and got one. It turned out that KY didn't check with other states, just their own state data bank. He was clean in KY so they have him a KY CDL.Moving Forward Thanks this. -
With good behavior, he'll be 80 when he gets out, if he lives that long. 25 to 30 years might as well be a life sentence for him, which doesn't hurt my feelings one bit. #### him! No one will have to worry about this piece of trash anymore. He'll be too old to do anything when he gets out. With 12 DUI convictions, TN and the trucking company should get in trouble for allowing him to drive anything, let alone a truck.

In Maine? Pfft good behaior he will be out in ten. Our laws here tend to be very forgiving with a lack of memory.
