You are 100 percent right on this. On X it is blowing up about how bad trucking has gotten. I have never seen it get so much attention and glad it finally is. Very unfortunate for all the people that this has affected.

True but I don’t believe the Illegals or fake licensed guys are entirely to blame. They did what the very broken system allowed. They need to go after the people who put it in place to let these guys get licenses to start with. The government created a system looking to get cheap labour and it backfired.

 

Sad to see people die, but I read he’s 21 which makes it even worse.

 

Accidents happened before, happen today, will happen tomorrow.

He turned 21 a week ago and was here illegally, which makes it even far worse.

How does he have a CDL and job one week into to 21 and came here illegally??

 

You can get a CDL when you’re 18, legally can’t cross state lines until you’re 21.

 

This so called driver turned 21 years old 1 week ago, 1.

So this kid who came here illegally was trained, insured, hired and stayed within California state lines all under 21.

 

It's a lot different when an illegal kills people.
An illegal should not be here and if they weren't here then these deadly accidents wouldn't have happened.

Let alone we've been handing out CDLs to unqualified people that don't even understand English, nor read road signs.

Whole trucking industry is in shambles.
It's a complete disaster.

CDLs have been given out like Halloween candy.

 

I’m not implying that at all, just stating that you can get a CDL at 18. I did. And stayed mostly within South Dakota until I was 21.
