Here..these are the visas that allow you to bring your entire family with you..

The EB-3 is a US immigrant visa that grants permanent residence and allows certain workers to live and work in the US indefinitely. It's a third preference employment-based green card for skilled, professional, or unskilled workers. The EB-3 is sought after due to its relatively low requirements compared to the EB-1 and EB-2 visas. Here's a summary of the EB-3 visa:
    • Subcategories
EB-3A for professional workers, EB-3B for skilled workers, and EB-3C for unskilled workers
    • Requirements
Less stringent than EB-1 and EB-2, but there are quotas and more applications than visas available.
    • Waiting times
Can be long, with unskilled workers currently waiting for petitions filed in May 2019.
    • Costs
$45,000 for the primary applicant, including all government fees, and $3,000 for each additional applicant.

Yes I’m aware of work visas. My question still stands. Why are they allowed work permits for that long of a period of time? 2030? Ridiculous. I said the system is broken. Meaning the entire system. We shouldn’t be issuing work permits for that length of time to asylum seekers or whatever their excuse is for showing up illegally. Couple years to try and get everything in order or they get sent back. But our government can’t run anything efficiently so it turns into a multi year process of deciding if they get to stay or not.

The South African that works for my cousin is only allowed to be here 9 months at a time, his wife and child can be here for 6 months. They should just tell him to come illegally, claim they’re seeking asylum, and he’d be good to go for multiple years. Always seems those who follow the rules don’t have the same freedoms as those who don’t.

hope not dumb twucker and Siinman Thank this.

Or just apply for a EB-3 visa

    All depends on the visa.

Time varies by category with the maximum being 5 years. It was increased from two years

Again, depends on the visa type and category of work authorization that they received.

Probably allowed to stay a year and has a requirement to leave the us for 3 months then is eligible to return.

The H2-A visa is temporary and has a lot less hoops to jump through. Hoops that I’m sure are overlooked by anyone hiring on an EB-3 visa and hoops that the government doesn’t really care about, since the government’s own website states that it’s about a two year process to complete the PERM certification to hire on an EB-3. I’m sure a trucking company would have a hard time actually proving they can’t hire any resident drivers for the wage the government says they’d have to pay.

Also part of the PERM process: proving that hiring foreign workers won’t negatively affect wages and working conditions of the industry they will be in.

Proving they can’t hire domestic drivers is probably the easy part with the truck driver shortage mantra that never stops.

This law firm has had success getting these visas and from what they’re saying sounds pretty simple yet time consuming. Even states that it’s unlikely that your application will be audited.
It’s really the way to go if you have a big family to bring along..Has a big price tag but I’m sure that’s all the government really cares about..sad in a way.
