Truck Driver Attempts U-Turn On Interstate After Getting Stuck In Traffic

even if he would have made it out of the median.. the trailer would have got stuck...dumb and dumber

 

He forgot he was on the job and thought he was in his jeep personal vehicle? Otherwise I'm at a loss to comprehend what would cause someone to think that maneuver would turn out ok.

One more idiot hopefully weeded out ... make room for the next one to replace him. You know it was a dude, no woman would try such a stunt, I don't think.

 

King of all idiots right there.serves him right to have gotten stuck.hope a cop seen that chewed his a ### out then gave him a steep ticket and hope his company fired him.

 

Anyone stupid enough to try that is too stupid to know what ATC is, much less find it or the inter axle differential lock on the dash.

 

I'm all for helping people if I can but in this case absolutely not.I want a cop to see the morans stupid stunt.

 

I'm thinken in this case the differential wouldn't have done any good.

Funny thing about this is...

Months ago in one hot afternoon in East Texas, an entire freeway I was on was shut down because a truck crashed into an overpass. The cops wouldn't let anybody cross underneath so everyone who didn't have any way to escape the madness had to just sit and wait. But some of us dared to do things the not so legal way to get onto the frontage road that was right next to us. Some trucks managed to do a u- turn and drive opposite of the direction of traffic on the shoulder lane to reach an exit a mile back. some just put their trucks in reverse and rode the shoulder lane a mile back. by the time I wanted to ride the shoulder lane in reverse it had already been 4 hours and the shoulder lane was now backed up. So... I slid my tandems all the way back and, locked my diff, and rode that puppy over a ditch at a cross angle keeping my momentum.
