Drug screen is on 1st day. Right after lunchtime. Physical was on 2nd day. If you take any prescription meds make sure you list them and get address and phone # of the doctor that prescribed them. Info has to be listed on long form. Due to you starting Tues (due to Labor Day I assume) You might end up doing on same day. I started on a Monday.

Thanks I appreciate it. I'm a little concerned I don't smoke but I be around it and scared it will show on the test and then all my efforts will be doomed if I fail

Keep us posted on how it goes with Wolding! Finishing school Oct 2 and they're still in my top 3...

So far, going good with Wolding...just finished Orientation and going out with my trainer in a couple days. Everyone has been great. Been treated very well. Every driver I've talked to here say it's the best company they've worked for. I'd be hard pressed to find someone that looks unhappy around here.

    12String and 123456 Thank this.

I called TDI in Sanford and I was told that they no longer train on manual transmissions. Their website states that they train on both, manual and automatics. Other TDI schools may or may not train on both, so something is wrong here.

why pay a school a few thousand only to have a restriction placed on your license. I don't care if most carriers are using automatics. When I call carriers they all say that they have both, manual and automatics.

if I'm paying to be trained to get my CDL, 1st, I do not want to be lied to, 2nd, if I don't want a restriction on my license such as automatics only, manual transmission is what I want to be trained on or I'm not forking out that kind of cash.

I’m not sure what’s available for grant $$ but my wife was going to go to school and team with me and was able to find a grant for the entire bill

She ended up taking a remote job that she can do from home

Just putting it out there to check any available options
