Sounds like you're not getting enough sleep there Joe. Maybe your diet is not healthy as well. Do you have a high BMI? I'd like to know more for my research project that I'm working on (life of a college student). I'll be posting a 100 question survey that I'd like you to help out with. (my dad)

(Repaired cars, sold parts,sold truck parts, drove in that order.)
4) How did you get your cdl?
(through the state of california, free, ROP, was a retraining for people getting out of jail, I wasn't but used system)
5) What's the best/your favorite part about being a truck driver?
( FREEDOM )
6) What's th e best truck stop chain?
( TA Hands down best showers, food, stock, People)
7) What state has the best/most accomodating truck stops?
( Hard one, TX, AZ, MO, SC.)
8 ) What's the most exciting state to drive through?
( Texas at 85 mph )
9) What's the most BORING state to drive through?
( WY, MT,)
10) What truck stop/fast food restaurant has the best coffee?
( Gotta give that one to Pilot, Not FJ but Pilot )
11) What do you snack on while driving?
( Meat, Fruits )
12) What's your favorite fast food place to stop for food at?
(POPEYES, When they don't charge for Ranch Dressing ie (TA MM 142 OK )
13) How do you exercise on the road?
( Park in back )
14) What do you do to keep up your energy on the road? (I get tired just driving the 2.5 hours home from school on weekends!)
( One Mountain Dew will keep me up for days )
15) What do you like to listen to (if anything) while driving?
( My engine, nothing else )
16) What do you do in your downtime?
( Riverraft, Hoover Dam Area )
17) What is your biggest cost on the road? Food, tolls, etc
( Food and Ciggs )
18 ) What is your primary method of keeping in touch with friends/family on the road? Phone, texting, Skype, etc
( Good one, each morning a few of us have a conference call and share ideas and experiences from the past days)
19) What is the hardest part about being a truck driver?
( Segregation )
20) Do you like driving at night or during the day better?
( Summer Nites, Winter Days )
21) How long are you usually out for at a time?
( Since I'm paying for my truck, I haven't been home since Oct 2009 by choice, no loads by my house )
22) What do you wish you had known before becoming a truck driver?
( How easy and fun it was to be a O/O, and do it earlier in life )
23) Do you drive solo or team? Which do you like better?
( Never did the team thing, figure I couldnt get along with my ex in a 3 bdrm house How you gonna handle someone in a 5x5 padded room)
24) How many miles have you driven in your career?
( well yea figure that one on 100,00 per year x 13)
25) And finally....what's your favorite place you've ever delivered to?
( My most favorite place was Matagorda, Tx, got to park my truck facing the Gulf I had never seen before, RV comes and parks next to me
fires off firecrackers during the nite, got to fish off the pier, While walking on pier found out all the guys with their sons were the ones going
to unload me in the am. Peaceful I loved it was like a two week vacation in 2 days. -

About 10 or 11
2) What made you want to be a truck driver?
My father drove and I enjoyed riding with him.

I have been a paramedic, deputy sheriff, 911 dispatcher and a warehouse manager
4) How did you get your cdl?
Studied the book and went and took the test.
5) What's the best/your favorite part about being a truck driver?
none really. I hate being away from home

7) What state has the best/most accomodating truck stops?
I would have to say none do. Most states/cities/counties would rather have you someplace else then where you are.

I try not to eat during the day.
