Those San Antonio owner-operator aggregate haulers are as bad as any of them in terms of speed and following to close, and just generally driving in unsafe manner. They are almost as bad as the garbage haulers across eastern PA. But that said, there's no way of knowing exactly what transpired and if the trucker was a "hero" or a "lucky driver" who dodged more serious effects of what basically amounts to a self-inflicted incident

It was a bad scene for sure. I can't help wondering why a driver would have to swerve that violently, unless he didn't see the fender bender until it was too late to apply the service brakes and gradually move over. I hope this doesn't offend anyone.
