You drivers should not be so hard on yourselves....... large corporations have a "model" that they look for..... we all can't be "that model "

Shell Oil turned me down for a drivers position in the '90's because I had too much education...... you see I thought "well who better to handle and haul the product then one who knows it cradle to grave" and while they acknowledged the education as an attribute.... I didn't fit the "model" of a "career driver" which is what they were looking for.

Pepsi has their model as does Coke and so on and Pepsi is but one company. There are many more whom would gladly welcome your interest. Try not to focus on just them..... throw lots of logs on the fire and see what catches.

Remember: The ratio for resumes' is 2% meaning you send 100 and 2 call you.

    Good Hunting !!!!

Same concept. It all loads into the trucks and gets delivered the same way. And they pretty much have the same trucks. Saying something like that is saying you cant haul product in boxes because all you have ever hauled is products on skids.

well I am going for a bay truck driver. down here they start off at 12.50 hr which still isnt bad for florida. And since I am just on unemployment right now 12.50 hr is alot more then what I am making right now and with the way the gov is messing around with the unemployment who knows if I am even going to have that in the next couple of weeks.

yeah I am hoping they give me a chance its been hard trying to get into a company I got my class a and then my wife passed away so I couldnt go on the road with kids to raise. So I have been trying to get someone to give me a shot without going over the road with no such luck. So I am really hoping pepsi gives me a shot.
