They told me the way you get your 40 hours is when your not filling in for a driver you drive around to different supermarkets in your personal vehicle and pull the bulk from the back to the shelves.they said you get the same pay plus a little bit for milage, not sure how much. He was sayin that's mainly in the winter, summer is busy and probably always be in the truck, plus you work your way up so eventually you'll have seniority and always drive instead of sticking. Bit the stocking is something to keep the relief drivers and such busy that wary they don't get laid off or move on to another company do to lack of hours, thats how they explained it to me

Wow really. I thought they run no matter what. I was in CT the other day, drive through the big storm. First snow storm for me, was nervous but kept it moving and drove safely.

I have a face to face interview on 2/11/2011 in phila.PA. I applied over a month ago for PT transport driver /nights. Was told on phone they pay .50cpm. start at 18:00hrs.
I asked how many hrs a week is the PT ,the lady couldn't answer the question. Does any one have info on PT transport driver,Equipment?
I don't have OTR exp ,so i'll see what happens. Thanks for any info -
