Right now things are pretty terrible for Canadian drivers.

The best options for OTR are Highlight and ERB/KDac.

Local jobs like GFS/Sysco are ok, but expect 18 hour days, and 30% driving with the rest manually humping 2000+ cases of food.

I'm going to reply to your other posts, as @TorontoTacos is the guy to talk to, as he just went through all of this, including talking to almost every company in Toronto.

Check the 'Indeed' website. I saw a few ads for Drivers who only had 6 month experience.

Why is Highlight one of the best companies to work for?

In the Vancouver region of BC, check the ads at various sites. You'll see many, if not most of the ads, saying team and no experience needed. As well as LMIA all over the place. It's extremely slow out here with almost nobody hiring or getting runs, but the immigrant companies keep rolling along, tanking their rates to rock bottom.

The eye of the beholder I guess.

Personally I prefer simple, minimal lettering vs. the billboard style.

I don’t consider them the “best” to work for, but they are a hell of a lot better than TransX/Bison/Day&Ross etc etc. Fast trucks, good money, tons of ######## I’m sure; but atleast you get paid. I would also rather work for the Russian Gangsters than the alternative’s.

They also have terminals in the US. I’m currently working for an LTL company that has this also. It’s truly a game changer, to be able to go into LA or New Jersey and either Sleep at the Terminal or drop and hook; without delivering. $$$$$$$$
