I made a video of myself recording the ENTIRE route I took where I ended up getting a ticket for driving in a 10 ton zone. You can clearly see that it is a trap set up.

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKEr_nYeii8"]Here is the video.[/ame]

I have received an overweight ticket from the state of Pennsylvania.
The county is Butler and the location of where my hearing will take place is

    Magisterial Court District No.
    520 Kelly Blvd,Slippery Rock,PA 16057
    (724) 794-6221

The fine is $6,505.50 for driving in a 10 ton zone. I have a recorded video of the route I took,as well as the route they provided AFTER the incident. The police officer refused to listen to what I had to say and he just ignored me.

I called the court office and a lady said that I had to pay $1,000 to have a hearing. The ticket they gave me CLEARLY says that I only had to pay $50 if I appear in court myself. They refuse to accept my NOT GUILTY plea unless I somehow get access to $1,000 by the end of this month of July.

I do NOT have $1,000 to dish out and even worse,if I lose the case. I still have to pay the rest of the $5,500 and it will be on my driving record. I am not given a choice, they refuse to let me speak to the judge himself and they refuse to give me a FAIR trial.

I want this ticket fought and cleared off my record and the fine as well, because they were the ones who made the mistake,of not putting up a sign for a truck of my weight to avoid the area in the first place. I was set up and the road ends in a trap, nowhere to turn around and no chance to avoid it.

I need this to be taken care of before the end of July. This court are the REAL criminals, why should I pay for THEIR mistakes?

One last thing: That I-79 North sign was never provided at the time of the incident and even worse, you have to drive 30 minutes out of your way for NOTHING!

I recorded a video for that too,the video was so long that YouTube removed it. I posted it on my website instead.

I'll provide a link for that too.

You best find a lawyer who specializes in this type of practice. My only question to you, when watching the video, when you came off the ramp there was a sign for 1-79 North why didn't you follow that sign?

If you were following the route given to you by dispatch, you shouldn't be liable for paying the fine. However, if you chose to go off route, that's on you. With that said, you have the responsibility to ensure your route is allowed per the STAA guidelines, so that way if any route given to you by dispatch is questionable, you can have it changed and save yourself and the company the hassle.

Not to be nit picky here, but overweight tickets don't go on you MVR. They will however go on you CSA score.

First, that sign was never there the first time I went there. Even more, there is no access to 79 South either. I ended up driving for 30 minutes only to go back 5 miles from mile marker 88.

Second,I recorded this video when I was bobtailing. I recorded this video so I could show the exact route I took for evidence and so I could turn around.

If I drove with a trailer again,I would get stuck all over again.

I work for CRST,this stupid company never had installed a WORKING Qualcomm in the first place. I wasted 4 days only to realize that it would take 7 days to ship it to my terminal and have it installed.

They made me continue to drive,I had to drive back because my dispatcher forgot to give me the load info when I left.

I have it on the video,it was 79 South mile marker 88 and I was trying to go to 79 North. But the sign was never there and even worse, the detour I took made me waste 30 minutes only to go back to mile marker 94.

I have the video right her.

Okay, I'm on dial up and not spending 20 minutes downloading video if you know what I mean.
That will go over good in court. Especially when you produce evidence against yourself.

In the video you made I counted at least 2 signs before you got to the intersection that stated Detour I-79 North with a right arrow, even if the sign at the top of the ramp wasn't there, looked like they gave enough heads up to turn right before you got there. They even had a sign for a state route and US Highway to the right before you got to the top of the ramp. Let me guess, those weren't there either the first time?

Just a guess, but I'm thinking your SOL dude.
