...would be a freaky stop, for sure. I remember a few years ago in St. Louis. I was going southbound on I-55 not too far past the I-44 split when I came upon an overpass. This particular driver had one heck of a view out of his windshield. He had run off of the bridge...his trailer tandems were the only thing stopping him from a complete free-fall to the ground beneath. ...and he was in a cabover. Could you imagine watching the ground come up towards your face....knowing you were going to smash...SOON....and then stopping. Good grief....what a ride. This was years before the dash-cam or digital cameras...so sorry, no pics. Some of you drivers may remember this.....I wasn't the only truck in the area.

I'm not syaing it WASN'T the truck driver's fault, but it certainly is refreshing to see all of the instant guilt assumptions in the feedback. Makes yo fully understand the attitudes against you out there, and all the more reason to do things by the book in ANY accident situation - take photos, don't admit guilt, don't say anything that could be used against you later... because it will.

I made a comment under the name of Sean Newberry.. I went back and read the comments.. Some of these people suffer from cranium in rectum syndrome.. It shouldn't amaze me what some people say and think, but it does.

Some of those people are real idiots, that's for certain. I added another comment as well. Bunch of idiots.

Interesting that it has come out that it is the fault of the car and the driver was drunk.

hotrod1653, TRKRSHONEY and HFC Thank this.

Yeah, its pretty funny how people with a big ol D on their license think they're somehow better than someone with an A, don't they remember from school which letter is better grade wise? LOL...

My main vehicle is a one ton dually, just because I don't want to be associated in any way shape or form with anything with four wheels!
