I'm glad the family in the house is alright and hopefully the two in the truck are alright too. For god sake people, slow the #### down when it's bad weather! Its ####### winter you know. I got an idea he was driving to fast. Maine is getting a mix snow, sleet, and freezing rain that started mid afternoon and will last through the night. I was fortunate enough to get my load of propane delivered and parked the truck before it got bad this evening. Drive safe everyone!

The driver needed his home time.

When you add freezing rain, speed WAY too fast for a corner, and 2 drivers in their early/mid 20's from a place that doesn't see any snow, and I'm assuming they don't have a whole lot of experience, this is what you end up with.
It says one of the people in the truck suffered a fractured skull and was transported to a better medical facility. Also, this area sees a lot of accidents and trucks speeding so you can bet that the Maine DOT will be going over EVERYTHING!

The porch is toast. Surprised the home owners havent required the state to move their home further away from the road.

Porch may be gone but now the owner can have a new porch built from the insurance company of the trk who hit his home.

Wow, no wonder he crashed. Going 45 mph around a sharp turn in freezing rain certainly wasn't the smartest move he made.

Indeed, that house has been hit before. It's a bad corner that needs to be fixed before someone does get killed over there.

The corner probably needs to be fixed, but dumb #### truckers need to slow down.
