Truck left abandoned for 5 years at FJ where my gf manages

If the unit was owned by FTI it will be an asset of the bankruptcy.
If it was financed then the finance company has a claim against possible recovery.
If it was leased then the leasing institution owns it.

 

Call the number on the side or post at FJ. Get friendly with the tow company. They legally tow it, you offer to pay for the tow, ask them to hold it for 45 days, get them to put a lien on it, for payment of tow and storage.(In hope they will store it for free) but add it to the bill of lien.He then can apply for the title and sell it to you for the cost of the tow. You would be surprised what people will do to help someone out. All of this is legal. Wont hurt to ask.
