Truck Load Rates Halt 8 Week Slide 2.0

I can drive a truck.

 

Ruh roh. Bail out fund is empty. Looks like gonna have to get money the old fashion way now.

 

I just did a check of these same cities to see the difference between Monday and today. Available truck number are up at a minimum 20% and some cities over 100% in the last 4 days. Obviously this isn't sustainable. I've been parked for 7 days for the first time since becoming an O/O a year and half ago. I'm good for a few months of not rolling, but I have to assume that lot of these available trucks will be going out of business very soon. My contract clients have some local work they want me to do for them next week. They appear to be having trouble finding trucks willing to do it, and I'm happy to get out of the house.

The used truck/trailer market is going to be flooded for months. Probably will be a great time to buy if you have the cash.
