Is it ok to say that pride prevents men from taking it or that's just an old fashion sentiment? On the other hand, The Cook County mercilessly took 6 Gs from me on March the 1st... So...if they would give some of it back to me, maybe it would no be too bad....

To lose pride is to stay home and do nothing while everyone is working. Stupidity is to keep looking for pennies, when government shut down all the business activity and is willing to pay you just to seat home.tommymonza and Western flyer Thank this. -
My trucks are paid off, but I have $1200 payment for trailers. $2600 per month insurance. So at the very minimum my fixed costs are $3800. I will get from government $3800.
So I still have to rely on my savings for personal expenses until everything opens
Another option is to go live in the truck for $100 per day and feel miserable begging brokers for extra $25 and not knowing how to pay for an emergency on the road repair, if one get to happen.
IMO its a horrendous business decision to keep running right now if you don't have contract freight, but get your loads from the spot markettommymonza, Dale thompson and Western flyer Thank this. -
