Agreed. I sent mine in the other day. I’m typically one of those that’s to proud to “stick my hand out.” But I did it after listing to an interview with Mark Cuban.

Why can't you claim it now? They - IDES - are not allowing you to register, yet?

They do but I didn't do payroll last year so will try as a "gig, self employee", that will open first of May , they say.

Out on another run today and another (same load) Wednesday. Nothing earth shattering, but at least somewhat profitable under the circumstances ;-)

I managed to piece together an LTL load today and another for tomorrow. Found some small family businesses needing to move a couple pallets each, all within 40 miles of each other and all delivering to the same area. Total miles including DH 210, and all three were happy to write a check at the time of pickup. I got $930 for today and expect about the same for tomorrow.

Since I've been parked since the 10th and only did 1 short in state load last week, I haven't needed fuel. I stopped this afternoon and put 150 gallons in. PUC cost was $155.

Guess it's back to the old supply & demand deal.

The company's who's volumes and contracts havent been severely affected right now, must be cleaning up.

Especially if their contract rates don't include a FSC scale.

Expect most contracts to be renegotiated in the very near future if this rate slump holds. My 2 contracts are stable for now, but that's only because of where I'm at and there aren't any other local O/O's willing to work with my clients. Too small for the big boys, but just right for me.

That would be one of those pay before loading.
