Don't feel bad. We're all in uncharted waters. I doubt if anybody's assumptions have been right about this mess.

I think it’s going to take a little while for things to get back to anything close to normal. Restaurant’s have been able to have dine in eating again all of this week at 50% capacity. I would say most of them have been lucky to see 20-25%, people are just not going out to eat like I thought they would.

One of our well known family restaurants gave the middle finger to our esteemed governor yesterday and opened up. They've been busy. They're using common sense procedures.

My daughter told me that several police officers showed up today...and enjoyed a hot sit down lunch ;-)

Pot is wonderful. Everybody should use lots of it.

The marijuana industry provides a huge amount of work to truckers here in my beautiful little corner of California. Lot's of out of state guys up here getting loaded at this time of the season as well. I even saw a couple of Mercer dry vans the other day........

My super cush, bankers hours for $80k a year job that will keep me from ever owning another truck of my own is totally dependent on commercial growers.

So please smoke all you can................

There are tons of people who were not able to file yet, because unemployment websites are not working correctly. I watched some news where the real unemployment number is estimated to be between 50-75 million

I was talking to the lady who cut 4 of my family members hair the other day. She's been deemed "non-essential" and is now, out of desperation, having to resort to black market, covert, underground services. She's scared to death of getting "caught" or "snitched on" and losing her license to cut hair, which IS her livelihood.

Who in the he l l would of ever thought something like this would happen in our country?...

She has had no luck getting unemployment yet here in Oregon. She told me she is receiving $183 a month in food stamps and that her savings are exhausted.

Weird, she should be getting full unemployment plus the $600 per week, unless she has not filed taxes last year

Our UE system is outdated and overwhelmed. The self-employed access is anemic at this point.

She doesn't want unemployment anyways, she just wants to work.
