Not in the South. Most barbers/hairdressers/etc. run their businesses out of their homes around here. Our cops are busy with real crime, not honest hard working folks trying to make ends meet.

Also, work for cash on the downlow. Screw the guvment. There isn't a DOT or FMCSA for getting a haircut that I know of. Yet another symptom of too many people getting in other people's business.

 

What South States are you talking about?

 

This virus is very smart.

It can tell the difference between a liquor store or an auto parts store, and a barber shop or hair stylist shop.

If it bothers you that much you should move, by staying you accept it.

 

TN, AR, AL, MS, KY, GA and everywhere else I've been for the last 30 years. Tons of ladies running hair shops out of their front room, back room, side room, portable building sitting next to the house, you name it. It's just common practice here. Have they stopped altogether since Covid-19? I doubt it.

 

It is a quintessence of being a snitch.
Especially now, when everyone is moving as they please. Chicago traffic is as usual, despite official lock down.
I guess they are butt hurt for not being able to work while others can.
