Okay Champ, I can see that winning an argument is about all your fragile ego can handle and defeat is not an option. When I see a beyond middle age man with an avatar reliving his glory days with a bullet bike running on a wheelie, and statements such as "deconstructing my entire post word by word", it become blatantly clear that you're one of those people who simply feels the need to be right all of the time. Rather than spend hours responding to somebody who clearly won't accept or agree with anything I have to say because my sources don't meet your standards, I will simply give you the victory you so deeply desire. Now go put on your leathers, hop on your bike, and show those 4 wheelers who is boss. I'm going fishing with my son.

Here is your participation trophy. You've earned it.

I'd be happy to receive a trophy like that! LOL

To your point, most of the time it's really not worth engaging in ongoing arguments with people you don't even know on an Internet Forum.

I'll say it again, I grew in up CA and have smoked a lot of pot in my time, neither one of them are what they're cracked up to be ;-)

Living where I do, I know [of] people in the "legal" pot growing business. Believe me, there's a lot of shady practices still going on as it relates to the "legal" distribution of both medicinal & recreational marijuana. A lot of these guys who are supposed to keep track of their transactions on the books, are just as shady as the back ally bookies are. Millions in cash will never see the tax rolls.

Running on the I-5 Between CA and OR, have you ever noticed the BMW motorcycle riders all clad in leather with the 3 or 4 metal cases mounted on their bikes? I frequently see these riders when I'm working, and one day I was getting on the NB I-5 at Rice Hill and a rider hit some loose gravel and laid his bike down right in front of me on the on-ramp. I got out and helped him pick up his bike, and one of the cases popped open. It was full of high quality buds and the smell just rolled out. He thanked me, hopped on his bike and quickly got on his way. So these bikers are couriers running product between CA and OR/WA, probably for off the book transactions. I've known dozens of recreational growers in CA for many years, and not one of them grows just enough for themselves. They always sell their excess on the black market. Personally I never liked smoking weed or any other kind of drug. I like being in control of my brain at all times which is difficult enough without stimulants.

easy rider.jpg I always wanted to ride a motorcycle ... but I may be too tall.

They have these classes at Harley Davidson dealers but, of course, the class bikes are too small. I think I would feel very cramped, uncomfortable, say nothing about learning the ropes.

The bike which would fit my size would be too powerful plus knowing my luck I would definitely fall off of it.

I used to take a road bike with me, despite the fact that I was always too heavy for a long distance cycling sport, but it kept me in shape. I stopped after the frame of the trek litterly cracked after 2 years of systematic exercise. The frame was supposed to hold 275lbs and I was at the time 220 lbs. Trek found a reason to deny their frame lifetime warranty, saying to me that it was a rider's error.

I still am determined find a class to learn to ride a motorcycle.
