People don’t care about Corona anymore. Only about half the politicians do as well. Keep it shut down! At least through Nov 3rd then it’ll be as if nothing ever happened. Don’t go out and rally, just stay home in your basement and mail in that vote.
We’ll take it from here..

Is it me, or does the guy in the bottom left have a giant boner and the lady in fanny pack taking a pic of it?

Had a call from a young broker this morning trying to get a load in my area moved tomorrow morning up to Portland OR. Told him I was off Monday/Tuesday and had a load booked on Wednesday so I wouldn't be able to do it. We chatted for a while and he's the first broker who has called me with the right attitude. Said he's been doing this for a year and trying to build relationships with small carriers for regular freight. I told him that's why I usually don't deal with brokers because they just like to turn and burn to the carrier with the lowest rate. So he and his partner called me back an hour later desperate. Said they've called over 100 carriers with no luck. They finally offered me $4.00 per mile with free quick pay. That still gave me time to DH back home and pick up my Wednesday load, and get my contract load on Friday. It's going to be a great week.

After hours of calls we found a 15 truck outfit and the 75 yr old owner took a liking to me and said he would run it there and go empty back to help us out. I came in on a Saturday to cross dock the load and my little old beater of a truck could deliver it Monday. Here like 8 years later he still runs loads for us and is our first call. -
Wait you mean you werent just born with freight to screw the carrier on? You had to actually work for it?
PPLC and Midwest Trucker Thank this. -
