The agent sent to her home "lifted up the toilet seat".

What was he looking for? The Coronavirus?

    Back on subject:

Starting to see a bit more of an uptick in rates on my end. Getting some more negotiation, some people passing on loads outright.

Not sure if the worst is over yet, but we'll see what happens.

    That's great!

I was offered 4 loads this morning going to Los Angeles area. All a dollar a mile, or less. So, it looks like things are starting to return to normal

I'll bet Kate isn't a very happy camper this evening. A judge struck down her emergency declaration, so as of right now, Oregonians are free to get back to business as usual.

I've learned not to get too excited when the rates spike a little bit. Whenever I do, they seem to drop the very next week. For me though, this week will be my best in months. It would be nice to see it continue for a while. Unfortunately the only way that will happen is if a bunch of carriers went out of business, and I haven't heard of many or any. We need capacity to drop like crazy to keep the momentum going.

Ours are most definitely bouncing back. And of course the massive fuel discount we were enjoying is starting to erode as well.

It's still pretty huge, but not as huge.

    PPLC and SteveScott Thank this.

If I were offered a million U.S. dollars in exchange for eating a roasted cat, I would do it.
