And it still isn't there. In fact there are quite a few loads in the $2-3 per mile rate that aren't there right now.

On the serious note, since I've been wallowing in the low rate mire, I quickly noticed a slight uptick with Chicago Outbound. For instance, you can go to Richmond, VA for $1800 -2000, or Des Moines, IA - $700-$800. Also received a few calls from brokers, without even posting. Let's hope we are bouncing off the bottom. But...due to relief loans, which so many got...(myself included) the frost did not kill all Mosquitoes. As soon as there is a little bit of sun and heat, they will reemerge and the rates will reflect accordingly.

Isn't there always a temporary uptick during produce season?

Let's hope for this to be the case but with all the news about farmers plowing their unharvested fields and decreased produce market demand in places like still shut down Chicago or NYC, it seemed like it was not much hope at first

Yeah, I saw reefer loads posted this morning out of California to the east coast for some pretty big money. One was a TEAM offer for $7,800 to CT. I was thinking about contacting you and asking is you wanted to do it LOL
