No I don't gouge prices in times of crisis.
That's why when I look in the mirror I don't see a littel piece of ####, lazy scumbag of a man.
Got it?

"Tell that kid with 17,700 bottles of hand sanitizer, I'll give him 25% of what he paid for it."

Just out of curiosity, when and where do you buy snow chains for your work truck? Do you buy them during the warm months when prices are low, or do you pay at least twice as much and buy them at a small truck stop in the middle of nowhere during a blizzard?Midwest Trucker Thanks this. -

I'm still waiting for the 1.5 trillion dollar (Repo Market money the Fed pumped in last week) memes to start appearing on the Interweb.
Not holding my breath though.PPLC and Dale thompson Thank this. -

I see Walmart is going to close their 24 hr stores from 11pm to 6am daily effective today. Other WM stores will have reduced hours.

Look, there's an easy solution to the 17,700 bottles of hand sanitizer guy's dilemma.
He just needs to apply for a "Coronavirus disaster emergency response grant" from the Feds or his State.
He has product the citizens desperately need and if they don't get it, they're liable to burn down the city.
A million dollar grant should do...
He can coordinate with his local Walmart, Target or Walgreens. While the "free" DRIVE THRU Coronavirus tests (to anyone who wants one) are being administered, he can hand out a "free" bottle of hand sanitizer!
That works out to only $56 per bottle, which is a steal, because it's free!
Problem solved!Midwest Trucker Thanks this. -
Does anybody find it amusing when trucks get tight because of whatever all the brokers come out of the woodwork sounding like JFK "Ask not what money you can get from me but ask what you can do for you country"
I did over $100,000 in business with a particular broker last year. Back in Christmas when trucks were tight they acted as if nothing had changed business as usual. They are acting the same now in this current situation.
So.... there is no relationship with any of these people. And there is also no such thing as gouging. Don't let these liars tell you any different. You better make it while you can because it is going back to normal, probably less than normal.Last edited: Mar 15, 2020

If you want to talk about people taking advantage of a crisis, look no further than the state of New York. They're using prison labor to manufacture hand sanitizer that will eventually be sold to the general public. Maybe the governor should be taken out and shot for exploiting a crisis as some have suggested.
