I'm going to start asking for zips. I was burned on this this week but it was my fault. Oakwood Ohio (Dayton) is not the same as Oakwood Village (Cleveland)! I have made this mistake being in a hurry one time before. Won't happen again. By the time I caught it I was at the pick up putting in my GPS where I was headed. Then the rate made more sense. It wasn't bad even with the additional near 200 miles but I certainly would've negotiated for more had I known.
Edit: I should add this isn't a shady brokerage or him trying to pull one over on me. Rate con had the correct zip, I just didn't look at it after I had the closer city in my head. Newb error.Lostkeys, tommymonza, Dave_in_AZ and 2 others Thank this. -
