    Fake News.

I do think there are a lot of people still sitting at home but all indications I’ve saw is that volume is above 2019.

From what I'm seeing in the west, capacity is down quite a bit but the freight the same or better than last year at the same time. A broker that I deal with regularly said that nearly a third of the O/O's he deals with went out of business since the first of the year.

You could get $6 - $7k out of LA today going back to Midwest. They must've reopened the ports and resumed receiving overseas freight.

Just so everyone knows... AllState on there is a double brokering fraud. I wouldn’t touch them with a 10 ft pole.

Speaking of drivers. My buddy has 5 trucks leased to a company. Hired a driver with 20 years experience. Checked all the boxes, good old American dude. He drove fine for some time and then last weekend did some crazy things.
He is driving and a cop pulls him over for flickering lights on the trailer (power cord was not all the way in).
Puts him out of service for logbook violations, also his license was suspended for the expired medical card.
After cop left, the driver got up and went to the GM plant to finish his load. While at the plant, he damaged four cars, claiming they were parked too tight to the docks.
After that he dropped the trailer, removed signs from the truck and went home.
Don't know yet how the whole story ended up
