Truck Load Rates Halt 8 Week Slide 2.0

Last weekend scored real big. 1800 on 225 guess they really needed it

 

I've gotten so used to the few shippers i deal with loading in 30min i start getting antsy lol if i have to wait longer than a hour

 

Talked to my cousin this morning who is a terminal manager for a hazmat tanker company outside of Cleveland. She said they're really slow, as bad as it's ever been. I guess certain segments of the industry are getting hit hard right now.

 

Bringing on another driver at the end of the month to give us a little break every now and then.

Coyote....not on the top of my list. Earlier this wk, Swift-Knight has a load posted 300 higher than coyote's book now now.

Imo now we're really seeing the true rates. Brokers market before, and now the house has flopped a bit. The rates now where they are they're making their ~15%

 

Maybe it's just my area but TQL started off on the bad side canceling 2x on us but every time they call us it's above market price.

Like clockwork they've been calling us every Fri-sat night with some banging rates. Been trying to leave 1 wagon empty over the weekend in case they call.

Don't trust my opinion tho pretty sure it's just demographics related tho

 

I blocked their phone almost two years ago, reduced my stress level significantly. Got tired of dealing with rude teenagers and always expecting to get screwed
